It's been half term this week and a bit of a mixed week. The girls were still feeling pretty grotty for most of it and husband caught the lurgy too :-(

We had a few family days out but to be honest they weren't the most successful. Tired, run down and grumpy children does not equal the most fun but at least we tried!

41. “Exausted and drained” – still poorly, everyone is shattered and a bit grumpy

42. “Fresh air & cuddles” – determined to beat the bug we washed all the bedding, cleaned and went out to play inthe fresh air. The girls scooted whilst Daisy enjoyed being wrapped in the Moby wrap.

43. “Pretty girl & hair bows” – I made lots more hair bows and took pretty pictures of my girls. They still weren't right. They enjoyed a bit of crafty stuff though, making ribbon pictures.

44.”We want Trunki's” – feeling slightly better we took the girls out for lunch and a look round the shops. They decided they needed Trunk's for their holidays.

45. “Painting & Tantrums” – We took the girls ceramic painting today (not too energetic & they usually like it). Unfortunately Rosie got bored after 5 minutes and was tearful & grumpy!

46. “Family day out” – take 2. We took the girls out to Cattle Country. We didnt get to see the animals and It would have been better if it wasn't so muddy but the girls enjoyed themselves.

My favourite picture of the week though has to be this one taken today: number 47. “Biker Girl”. Rosie loves her Strider bike and is getting better everyday! It won't be long before she can cycle to and from School.

Hope you've all enjoyed a great week too.

To be honest it's not been a great week in this house. It should have been lovely as my Sister and her boys were here but one by one they all went down hill with a horrible, horrible virus.

It started off with a really high temperature (up to 39.6 in both girls) and was accompanied by earache, headache and tummy ache. It's lasted about five days so far so not good. Luckily Mum and Donna were around to help at the start of the week and Husband at the end so I've not had to struggle alone.

34. “New Glasses” – I've not worn glasses in years but have switched my contacts for these lovely new pinky purple ones

35. “Swinging” – I love this photo of my Sister with Rosie. It was her first go on a big swing.

36. “Baby Seat” – We switched the newborn seat for the baby one on the Stokke Tripp Trapp and Daisy loves it

37.”Duvet Day” – the girls were really not well so made beds on the sofa and enjoyed lots of cuddles

38.”Poppy is Repunzel” – We were kindly sent this fab dress and glow in the dark wig for Poppy to Review. She was still poorly but couldn't wait to try it on

39. “Still poorly” – 4 days later and girls still unwell. Not happy bunnies.

My fave picture this week has to be 40. “Flower fairy” – having poorly big girls is not much fun so this morning to ease the boredom, I dressed Daisy in a tutu and wings & took photos of her :-)

As you can see she hasn't caught her Sister's bug yet and is a happy content little girl.

Hope you've all had a good week too.

Husband started three weeks leave this week. Itwas lovely for us to have him around but hes realising three under 5 is hard work and is ready to get back to work already haha :-)

Monday – Poppy went to School as usual, she doesn't break up until Friday! Husband and I took the other two girls Christmas shopping. Managed to get a few bits and pieces and lunch out before Rosie got fed up and started showing off.

Tuesday – Daisy and I went to Costa his morning with Jo. Shes off home tomorrow for a few weeks so it was great to catch up before she disappears. We then all went to the usual music group we go to. This afternoon we watched Poppy's Nativity play where she was a very pretty Angel.

Wednesday – took Rosie to get her hair cut today. She had quite a bit off to try and tidy it up a bit. She was very good.

Thursday – the last Tumble Tots session this term and they were all set up for Christmas. It was lovely. Check out little Miss and her new bob.

Poppy had lovely day at school too. She saw a pantomime and a carol service. My glue gun arrived so I started making bows and loved it. Made all of these:

Friday – We all went to stay and play at Poppy's school. It finished early today as it was party time for them. Husband then took Rosie into town for a few hours. She enjoyed quality Daddy time and he got a few jobs done. I stayed home with Daisy who was very good. I managed to tidy up and then got started on making more bows and clips for my girls. Such fun!

This evening we went over to our neighbours house where we enjoyed homemade mince pies, gluewein and a bit of street party. It was lovely to see everyone out and the girls had fun too. Next we quickly got the girls sorted before I headed out to the movies with my lovely Dad. We went to see The Hobbit which was fab!

Saturday – we were supposed to be going to West Midland Safari park (I'm getting to review it) but sadly it was raining so hard we changed our minds, instead Nana came here for the day which was very nice. Husband took Poppy & Rosie swimming for a while (which they all enjoyed) whilst Nana and I enjoyed a relaxing few hours here with Daisy. It was lovely.

This evening got ready to go see family tomorrow. Clothes ironed and layed out, presents wrapped and cards written on.

Sunday – headed off to see Husbands side of the family and drop off presents. It was a lovely day and very Christmasey. We even dressed the girls in pretty party dresses. We managed to get round most of the family and then ended up at his Mums for a huge family Christmas dinner…perfect! The girls loved seeing all their cousins too. A really lovely day :-)

We are really in the mood for Christmas now.

It's been another busy one as Husband was away at the start of the week and Daisy went down with yet another cold – poor litle thing. Trying my best to spead the attention evenly and keep all the girls happy.

Monday – Poppy was upset on way to school. Had another word with her Teacher who says she is fine as soon as I go. I then went for coffee with friends. Daisy wasn't right most of the day. She was very tired and whiny but couldnt sleep. it carried on through the long night with Husband away.

Tuesday – With Daisy fast asleep in her car seat I took Rosie to the usual music group. She enjoyed singing and dancing and a bit of my attention. Then i managed to get both girls to nap at the same time for 1 1/2 hours. I actually spent time blogging and a hot cup of tea…lovely.

After school our friends came for dinner and to play. A mad (all 4 children hyper) but lovely evening and looking forward to doing it again soon.

Wednesday – a quiet day at home after a long night. Rosie was terrified Santa was coming into her bedroom last night and got up around 10x. Told her he won't be going anywhere near her, that if she is good he my leave some presents downstairs but she still was worried.

Thursday – with Daisy on my back in the baby carrier, I took Rosie to Tumble Tots. Rosie loves it and really joined in with the singing and dancing bits too. When we got back I was hoping to get both girls to bed again but it didn't work out :-( the day went downhill and I was glad to get the older ones in bed.

I was tired, stressed out and covered in baby sick when Husband knocked at the door, one night early!! Yippee I was so relieved and excited. Ended up staying up late. Rosie then got up another 20xs scared of Santa. Not good!!

Friday – We stated the day with stay & play at Poppy's school which was good but then Poppy got upset when I left. Had a good chat with her Teacher and she is really pleased with her and thinks she's just tired at the end of term.

Tonight we went to Blooms, our local garden centre which has a soft play area and has been done up for Cristmas. I thought it might help Rosie but she didnt like any of the decoration, think she was worried Santa might appear! Poppy loved it though.

Saturday – This morning I took Poppy out for a hot chocolate and a bit of Mummy time. We had a lovely chat and she says she likes School, the teachers and Children but misses me and is tired. Thank goodness it's almost Christmas. Our friends turned up then and joined us which Poppy enjoyed too.

This afternoon was Poppys 1st ballet show and she really enjoyed it. I was upset she had to wear make up…..she looked too grown up. We are going to watch tomorrow's show – very excited.

Sunday – I woke up feeling dreadful sore throat, runny nose and everything ached. No wonder daisy has been so grumpy. She actually had her best nights sleep last night but Poppy got up 2x (unheard of). I am running on empty.

This afternoon was Poppys ballet show and she was a little star! She danced in front of about 300 people. I was very proud.

I am a very run down, tired Mummy at the moment but love my little family and don't want to complain too much.

Life in this house has been crazy since having three and we are still adjusting. We are starting to get into a bit more of a routine now though and this week Daisy even slept for 12 hours one night….yeeehhh!!!

Poppy has been attention seeking and saying she has tummy ache before School though. The School and I have chatted to her and she just misses me and thinks she's missing out. I'm shattered trying to split myself and divide the attention up between everyone but doing my best.

Monday – Daisy was very sick and uncomfortable all day and night after I had pineapple yesterday – fruit just doesn't agree with her. I felt terrible so cuddled her and Rosie most of the day.

Tuesday – we had our friends to play before heading off to our usual music group. It was a lovely morning and then this afternoon we just chilled.

Wednesday – Rosie and I put the tree up today but left the fairy and chocolates for Poppy to put on…she was so excited. It's the girliest tree complete with tin fairies and pink, teal and purple ball balls. I then changed the gap under the stairs into a little play area:

Thursday – Daisy had some injections this morning and then we went to Tumble Tots. Rosie had great fun. Afterwards our friends Vicki and Elliott came back for lunch (cold cheese on toast- whoops).Eventually we all ended up in Costa for a lovely hot chocolate before the School run…perfect!

Friday – Poppy went to School dressed as WonderWoman for superheroe day. She had a great day – I did cleaning!

Saturday – ballet day followed by lunch at Nanny & Gramps. Husband and I got to leave the girls for a few hours and do a bit of Christmas shopping..bliss!

Sunday – extra ballet/ dress rehearsal for next weeks show. Poppy had to wear makeup and everything! I wasnt happy about it, she looked so grown up! I had a terrible migraine this afternoon and ended up in bed for a few hours :-( Husband had to go away tonight for a few days.

So not a bad week at all.
